How to Get a New York Marriage License

Application Requirements for a New York Marriage License
The future spouses will be asked to fill out an application for a marriage license, which is an affidavit that asks for personal details including name, address, date of birth, social security number, and marital history.
You’ll need a credit card payment or money order in the amount of $35 (payable to “City Clerk of New York”), proof of your identity, and proof of your age if you are, or appear to, be under 18 years old.
